Beach Sa Coma
The small town of Sa Coma is located on the east coast of Mallorca, just south of Cala Millor. Between the two holiday towns sits the unoccupied peninsula of Punta de n’Amer, which impresses with its wild nature. The Sa Coma beach is located in Sa Coma and spans a large area between S'Illot to the South and N'Amer to the North. The beautiful white sanded beach is roughly 700 meters long and 40 meters wide.
The beautiful sandy beach in Sa Coma is nearly a kilometer long and fairly wide and covered in white, fine sand. The water is fairly clear, and the first meters are quite shallow, making it an ideal location for families with younger children. On windy days, waves may appear. The water, albeit at times being wavy is great for children as most places are fairly shallow to begin with before getting deeper. A great place and town to spend the day or vacation.
The beach has many sections with sunbeds and umbrellas (however, can also be rented for a daily fee for non hotel visitors), and of course, there are also showers and restrooms at various points on the beach. There is also plenty of space to place a few towels and enjoy the day without using the lounge chairs. There is a beautiful promenade that leads along the beach from end to end and connects to S'Illot. As mentioned, there are toilets all along the front which is very convenient and lots of sun loungers to rent, many shops, cafés and areas to relax along this beach.
While there is free parking available, it is very limited depending on where in Sa Coma you park. The closer to the beach, the fuller it gets.
