Wasserburg
Overview
The moated castle in Ratingen, next to the Freibad Angerbad. The small medieval castle has been converted to housing, a restaurant, and a place for events. A stroll through the garden is short, however opens up to the Junkerbusch path, which in turn opens up to a vast green pastures and walking/hiking paths. From here there is a marked hiking path roughly 5km in length. (See photos)
Parking is fairly limited, accessible from Hauser Ring and onto Haus vom Haus street.
