Playground Niederkasseler Str.
Overview
The playground is located just off of Niederkasseler Straße, however also accessible from the other side as well – off Mönchenwerther Straße, Askanierstraße and Johannesenstraße.
The paths leading to the playground are great for strollers, and leads to an open green area with large boulders to sit or play on.
The playground itself offers a climbing tower with a slide, all in a sandpit. There is also a hammock, swings and a small playhouse with sand related activities nearby. There are plenty of benches and as previously mentioned green space to play ball or picnic.
One note of caution here is the path along the playground is also utilized by bike riders, some who seem to speed by rapidly.
