Playground Bauenhäuser Weg

Overview

This playground is nicely located between Aaperwald and Grafenberger Wald. It is easily reachable by car and there is free parking nearby. Once you exit the playground and head left (away from Fahneburgstrasse/Rennbahnstrasse), you’ll find it at the fork of Tönnesaaper Weg and Bauenhäuser Weg. It is next to the woods of the Aaper Wald which is a large area to walk, stroll, run, bike, etc…The playground has a large wooden carriage that holds a slide and wooden horses. Balance beams that look like snakes, an area with swings, a seesaw, and numerous benches/picnic benches.On a sunny day there are a few trees that provide shade.The ground is a mix of dirt and grass, whereas a few of the play areas themselves have sand.
