Playground Av. dels Benvinguts

Overview

This playground (Parque infantil in Spanish) is located in Cala d’Or just off one of the Roundabouts that lead into the town. You’ll find access points on both Av. dels Benvinguts and Av. de Calonge.

The playground is decent-sized and seems to have undergone a renovation recently (2020 or earlier) and offers a little something for younger kids to enjoy. The area is split into sections, with each area flooring consisting of rubber whereas the remainder of the playground is concrete and gravel.

There are a few palm trees to provide shade when the sun is hot, however, take caution of the equipment as well. The entire playground is fenced in.

Update July 2022:
The playground must have recently undergone another transformation, as there is now a cool activity tower for older kids on one side of the playground. The castle-themed activity tower features climbing areas, slides and various other activities. The playground itself has a small picnic table for children and a larger one for adults, located under a large canopy of a tree. There are several benches located around the sides of the playground and parking is available nearby, both free and paid.
