National Park Punta de n’Amer
Overview
This nature reserve on private land was declared a Natural Area of Special Interest (ANEI) in 1985. It is situated between the residential areas of Cala Millor and Sa Coma, and roughly covers around 200 hectares of land. It is an ideal place to do sports, go hiking, running or biking. The trails are fairly good that most strollers would be usable to walk towards the Castell de sa Punta de n'Amer which is an old fortress from the 17th century built to guard the east coast of Mallorca during times of many pirate raids. At the top you'll find a café with several tables to enjoy a drink or coffee while looking across the sea and Cala Millor.
