Butterfly Park Empuriabrava

Overview

The butterfly park is located close to the town of Castelló d'Empúries as well as Empuriabrava along Carrer Santa Clara. It is a small tropical zoo that is over 20 years old and is over 2,000m² in size, recreating the tropical rainforest where butterflies, parrots and many other animals are the protagonists. The exotic plants are fundamental in maintaining the right conditions and a balanced ecology for our inhabitants.

Fun for the whole family, you can walk through the tropical garden and discover the fascinating world of butterflies, toucans, turtles, parrots and many other exotic animals.

The duration of the visit of the park is about an hour and a half. One of the objectives of the park is to allow visitors to have direct contact with nature and animals. Observe the four phases of the butterfly life cycle and discover the wide variety of tropical butterfly species.
