The Main Games

As with most summers, the main games (Mainspiele) are here and the event is a great outing for the whole family, especially for those families with younger toddlers and school children. The area is along the river bank, hence it is also good for families with strollers. On sunny days, visiting here makes it all worthwhile, as your child will have over 20 stations to enjoy. It is a child’s paradise. On top of that, not only will they have fun, but the location is a great area to see the Frankfurt skyline along the Main, and there are several benches and grass areas to relax and sit.

There are 20 stations as previously mentioned, and they all are nearly free, at least a majority of them. There are a few things like the boat ride that cost a few Euros, however, will not break any family’s wallet. You’ll also find trampolines, a handcraft area for activities such as coloring, a boat ride, and much more.

There are also food stations on site that will cover your small hunger and appetite. Your typical imbiss food from french fries to sausages to pretzels and drinks. All are decently priced and can be enjoyed at the tables or as a picnic on the grass areas nearby.

Hence, if you are looking for something to do, then plan in a couple of hours, and visit the Main games on the river bank in Frankfurt. The event is located here until August 14th, 2022, and is open daily from 11:00 to 19:00.

We wish all of you a lot of fun there!
