Zoo Vienna
Overview
The oldest existing Zoo in the world was founded in 1752. The Tiergarten Schoenbrunn (Zoo Vienna) was voted Europe's best Zoo in 2008, 2010, and 2012.
Albeit myKiids not actively promoting Zoos many have great initiatives to promote Wild life. The Zoo Vienna is a great place to discover the animal kingdom. It is open year round and combines the highlights of the natural world with an unparalleled history as the world's oldest and Europe's best zoo.
It is part of Schonbrunn as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage listed site and home to more than 700 species of animals. Kids will love the Giant pandas, tigers, orangutans, koalas and elephants. You will be able to immerse yourself in the magic of the Amazon and feel the heat of a tropical rainforest in the heart of Europe. Moderated feeding sessions, guided tours and a trip aboard the panorama train turn a trip to the zoo into an unforgettable experience.
