Ulenberg Park

Overview

The park of Ulenberg is a great leisure facility that offers visitors of all ages a wide range of play and sports opportunities. There is a playground for smaller children and toddlers that includes playhouses, sand area, a water play area, and a few other pieces of equipment. Then there is a playground for older kids that includes a large tower with a slide as well as a climbing pyramid and large swings. In between, there is a climbing wall and activity tower with monkey bars. Hence, children of all ages have something to play.

Among other sports activities that are offered here are volleyball, basketball and other ball sports and boules. Table tennis and table football can be played in a hall. Multigenerational exercise machines are also available. The use of the barbecue areas is free of charge, but a reservation is necessary.

The entire area encompasses roughly 4,200 m² and is completely fenced in with access from two sides. All the sports courts from basketball to volleyball are freely accessible. Children can run, play and let off steam.

At the main entrance of the park you will find a free parking area, and toilets are in the main building at the center. Tucked away in the corner of of park is a large skate park that features a variety of ramps and halfpipes and is great for skating - primarily older kids and teenagers.

The parks opening hours vary depending on the season and month, hence check up front before going there. Overall a great place to spend a few hours, picnicing, grilling, playing and doing sports.
