Speelpark Klein Zwitserland

Overview

A children’s park with themed playgrounds (one of the oldest in Europe) spread across a large piece of land that includes an outdoor swimming pool, mini-golf & a snack bar. Zwitserland (Little Switzerland in Dutch) is located very close to Venlo and right across the border from Germany. Upon entering, you’ll find that there are many paths to choose from with each leading to a specific play area, typically themed from a carnival to an old Roman fort.

Some playground areas are dated (nostalgic) and there are quite a few interesting activities you won’t find on typical playgrounds, things that seem from the ’70s or 80s, however nonetheless fun. The entire area spreads across a large piece of land, most of which is very well shaded as it is located in the forest.

There is a small snack bar available that serves basics like fries and sausage. A great place to spend a day and let the kids have fun. Remember to bring your swimming items if you plan on utilizing the pool. There are also plenty of benches in each area, including some picnic benches.

Free parking is also available close to the entrance.
