Playground Palace Eller
Overview
The playground in Eller is actually right outside the actual Palace grounds, right along Heidelberger Strasse. The newly designed playground features not only various activities for children including swinging, climbing and slides, but is also one of eight official water playgrounds in the city.
This means, as you can tell in the pictures, there is a larger water play area along with other water related features such as nozzles and fountains that spew water on warm days, making the playground a great combination to spend time playing, and perhaps picnicking on the large lawn next to the area.
Limited parking can be found along the street (with a 2 hour parking limit) or the nearby official parking lot on Schloßallee with a short walk to the playground.
The visit to the playground Eller can be combined with a visit to the Palace grounds.
