Playground Ostpark
Overview
The playground in Ostpark is ideal for smaller children and younger school children. It offers a few playhouses within a large sand area, a set of swings, and a climbing tower with a slide for older kids. There used to be a bridge connecting the two play towers, however, that has been removed. There is also a water pump and a small water play area during warmer months. A majority of the playground is located under large trees, hence it provides shade when sunny.
The entire play area is located on the Sulzbachstrasse side of the park, opposite the pond on the other end. There is a large green grass area that is ideal for picnics, playing ball or enjoying a book. The park itself is great for sports, strolling, or relaxing. The only thing to mention is that there are several birds (ducks and Canadian geese) and hence there can be lots of droppings in the grass.
