Playground Im Stadtwald
Overview
The Stadtwald playground of Krefeld offers a variety of activities for kids of all ages. Spread across a vast field, each activity area is spaced out nicely giving kids and adults enough room to move freely.
The equipment itself is an interesting mix between the old and new and offers things like a mini-parkour, to a zip line, toddler swings, mushroom spinner to playhouse and slide.
The only thing we would like to note at the time of our visit is that there were a few areas (3 in total) that were severely damaged/broken and non-usable.
There are numerous benches located around the playground and there is plenty of free parking within the vicinity – for example Hüttenallee.
All in all a beautiful park to visit on a sunny day, for a stroll, a game of soccer, or a picnic in a vast field while the kids play.
