Playground Carrer Josep Maria Llompart
Overview
This playground is located in the park close to the beach and right across several hotels including the Aparthotel Dunes Platja. The park spans the entire block along Av. Centre, Passeig Colón, Carrer Dunes, and Carrer Josep Maria Llompart, the last one is the side the playground is located on.
The remainder of the park is pathways and a few benches. There is also a fairly good sized dog park in one corner, that is completely fenced in allowing for dogs to run freely. Unfortunately, as of the time of writing this, the park is in a fairly run down condition. The park itself has tremendous potential if it were to be slightly renovated, especially the play area.
There are plenty of parking spots along all the aforementioned streets along with a public parking lot right across the park where the public library of Can Picafort is located. The park and playground are also within walking distance of several shops, and the beach.
