Playground Burg Linn
Overview
The playground at Burg Linn is right off of Margaretenstraße. The streets in the area are very narrow so follow the signs for parking for Museum Burg Linn. It’s a short walk from most parking areas.
This play area seems newly constructed or recently updated as of (March 2021) and fits in nicely with the surrounding theme of a castle. The playground is split into two sides – one featuring a long guard wall with a wide, but short double slide, along with towers that offer another slide. One note of caution is that the wide slide is (a) fairly high off the ground – especially for smaller children and (b) only a short distance away from the corners of a stone wall (in case someone falls forward).
The other side of the playground features benches and a round “picnic” table for children like that of knights. There are also more activity towers and various bridges.
The entire playground is fenced in and accessible from 2 sides – one being next to Margaretenstraße and the other towards the Burg Linn park.
A great place for a visit and outing, especially in combination with a visit to the mueseum/castle.
Very nice playground. I can only recommending it. Location next to the Burg Linn that has a nice park to walk and the town with small streets is also very nice.
The playground is clean, quite new and great for my daughters (age 4,7).
