Playground Aaper Wald

Overview

This playground is located on the border of the Aaper Forest, right next to the Metro station “Oberrath.” There is a very small parking lot next to the Metro station, however is often filled as there are also two restaurants across from each other.

The playground is located right across the train tracks. It is a fairly large playground with a variety of activities including a playhouse, multiple swings, a lot of climbing opportunities for older kids as well as sports facilities including a soccer pitch, a basketball hoop, and calisthenics bars.

There are also several paths that lead directly into the woods for a nice hike/walk.

You’ll find benches, sitting opportunities, as well as picnic tables spread across the playground area.
