Na Clara
Overview
This small hidden beach within Cala Mata, known as Na Clara, is a beautiful gem. It is just outside the town of Betlem, and is a small walk along Avinguda Colon and the same named hiking path, however, the catch to getting to this small beach is the steep climb down.
As can be seen in the photos, the path leading towards the Cala is gravel and an actual road (path) that can be walked along, however the narrow path that leads to the area to climb down is quite tricky. Albeit the beach itself being beautiful, the waters fairly shallow upon entry and the scenery amazing, for most families with younger children and toddlers, a visit to the Cala may not be advisable due to the steep access, both down and then back up again. School children, with the help of a parent, may be able to climb this path, cautiously, in proper footwear. Parents should know their children best. For teenagers and adults, it'll be just as tough, but manageable.
The Cala gets busy around noon and early afternoon. The majority of the area is rocky and pebble/gravel type beach.
Note: We would advise to not visit here with younger children and toddlers, as can be seen from the photos.
