Municipal Park Can Picafort
Overview
This park is in Can Picafort, right off the main road Ctra. Artà-Alcúdia (MA 12), wedged in between Can Picafort Palace Hotel and Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa.
The park is fairly large in size, spanning roughly 175 meters in length and 60 meters in width. Towards the center of the park you will find a playground, albeit slightly dated, still usable for younger school children.
Towards the back of the park, along the road Vial Afectacion which is next to the Zafiro Can Picafort Hotel, you'll find a multigenerational training area with equipment spread out across the area. There is plenty of space to run around and play and to even get a training in. There are also several picnic benches, some seemingly oversized and able to sit a dozen people. The trees provide plenty of shade during warmer summer months.
Parking spots are available for free on both sides of the park, however, there are significantly more spots available on Vial Afectacion.
