Dog Beach Pollenca
Overview
Who doesn't like taking their furry friend to the beach? This dog beach is an official "Playa de Perros" and is located in the town of Port de Pollenca right off of Via Alemanya. While the beach itself is not sandy as its counterparts a few meters away, it is a nice place for dogs to roam freely.
There are large pine trees that provide shade and a few picnic benches spaced out to enjoy lunch or snacks. There are trash bins to throw away any excrements (please keep the area clean), and plenty of coastline for dogs to run around. The only downside is that it is not fully fenced in anywhere, hence, if your dog cannot run around leashless, then bring along a long rope rather than a short leash.
There is free parking all along Via Alemanya, and usually there are spaces available, but this depends on the time of day.
