Bellver Castle Park
Overview
The Belver Castle Park is located in Palma de Mallorca, wedged inbetween the neighborhoods of El Terreno, La Bonanova, and Teulera on the hills overlooking the city.
It is well recognized for its scenic surroundings, which include lush green gardens and a forest, as well as its castle with the same name at the top. The park itself is fairly large with a circumference of roughly 5 km. There are several paths within the park, paved and unpaved that allow for visitors to take a stroll, walk, hike, run through nature. There are two playground on either side of the park, the playground Bellver Park and the playground Bellver Castle.
In the park one feels as if you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The main road that cars and buses uses to reach the Castle Bellver cuts through the park, however, there are several areas you can enter, exit and walk around always discovering something new. A great walk for tourists visiting the castle, or a place to relax and get away for locals.
