Beach of Formentor
At the far northeast of Mallorca, about 10 kilometers from Puerto de Pollensa, is the lovely Playa (Beach of) de Formentor, a white sand beach with a blue flag. Included among the top 20 beaches in Mallorca. The beach of Formentor is a long, narrow beach that is situated in one of the island's most pristine and beautiful areas, with views of the Tramuntana mountains and lush pine trees. It is around one kilometer long and is surrounded by dazzling blue water. Pine forests surround it, allowing you to cool yourself on the warmest days.
The beach is highly well-liked by visitors that come to the northern part of Mallorca to take in the expansive views from Cap de Formentor, the island's most northern point, where a lighthouse is located. From here, you can view the nearby island of Menorca on clear days.
The three distinct sections of Beach de Formentor each have a separate fee for renting sun loungers and parasols. It may be fairly pricey in the midst of peak season. Moreover, services and showers are available. This beach is fairly long, but there isn't much sand there, and because it's so narrow, it may get pretty crowded. If you have little children, it is ideal because the water is shallow and the sea is typically quiet. There are stones on the beach in some places, although it is normally accessible.
Everyone of any age may enjoy the beauty and serenity that this beach radiates, including children and families. You may practice windsurfing and paddle surfing by renting pedal boats and the appropriate gear. Those who want to swim or snorkel may do it in full peace because the beach is not very busy and is pretty clear. Moreover, Beach de Formentor has two tiny gift stores.
