Beach of es Port
Overview
The beach of es Port is located in Colonia de Sant Jordi, and is a small beach located along the promenade (and street) of Carrer Gabriel Roca. It is situated between the Port and residential buildings. On one side of the beach (the left side facing the sea) allows you to access a path towards the beach "des Dolç", which is visible from this beach. The beach, in the summer, has a lifeguard on duty and is a great place for families with smaller children as the waters are fairly shallow upon entry, and the sand is a nice fine, soft sand. During the summer season however, there are lounge chairs and umbrellas that cover parts of the beach.
The promenade right next to this beach features a few restaurants and bars, ice cream shops and supermarkets nearby. The aquarium Cabrera is right around the corner, as well as a a smaller playground located along the promenade. There are three access points making it easy for anyone to access the beach. Toilets are nearby as well as showers for the feet. Parking is nearby on adjacent and nearby streets, however can be crowded during the summer months.
