Sound Box: Workshop to discover the world of sounds

The CaixaForum Palma is holding a workshop for children that revolves around sound. Adapted from the CaixaForum website, “if you close your eyes and pay attention, you will discover a lot of things that you can identify just by their sound. But do you know what sound is and how it makes it to reach your ears? Join us and, experimenting with well-known tools and materials, you will discover that everything starts with a small vibration and how fascinating the world that is hidden behind the “drawer” of sounds is.”

This workshop activity is recommended for boys and girls from the age of 5 years old.

Schedule

There are two sessions remaining. One in Spanish and the other in Catalan.

• Saturday, December 10, at 12 noon (Spanish)
• Sunday, December 11, at 12 noon (Catalan)

Additional Notes:

All children must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must have a ticket, purchased prior to the event. Children under the age of 3 are free, however also need a ticket which can be selected in the promotion section option “under 3 years”.

The duration of this workshop is roughly 60 minutes.
