The organic market of Palma was created in September 2010. Albeit only being around for just over a decade, the market currently has 16 farmers and producers who sell their produce every Tuesday and Saturday (except for public holidays) from 08:00 am to 14:00 in the Plaça Bisbe Berenguer de Palou (Plaça dels patins).
The Palma Organic Market aims to be a space for the direct sale of certified organic food, fresh or processed, produced locally by farmers. The pillars of this market are to be organic, local, seasonal foods, local varieties and indigenous breeds.
The market offers a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, sausages, oil, flours, breads and pastries.
