Christmas Market Hanau

The Christmas market will formally open on Monday, November 21, 2022, ushering in the Advent season in Hanau at the foot of the Brothers Grimm. Until December 22nd, there are more than 70 sales and food stations available daily from 11:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m. that encourage you to take a stroll, eat, and have fun. No request is unfilled, from mulled wine to roasted almonds, Hessian delicacies to Christmas products. Visitors of all ages will be delighted by the nostalgic “Mini Ferris Wheel,” which was successfully installed in Hanau in 2008 and was very popular, and this year will feature a new two-story carousel.

On the enormous Christmas stage on the market square, more than 40 clubs, schools, daycare centers, and music ensembles will perform, highlighting the holiday spirit in the Brothers Grimm town.
